Almost 20 Years

It still seems like yesterday… becoming a Dominatrix. August 2021 will mark My 20 year anniversary as a Domina. I remember how I felt during my first sessions. I felt nervous, yet excited. I remember participating in photo shoots in 2001. The dungeon wanted to advertise me. I never saved the images. 2002 is when I took it seriously. So, I created MistressXena.com in 2002. The website looked much more different. I had to teach myself how to code. Luckily, I had some help learning. To keep my site updated, I participated in photo shoots.

I loved modeling for the camera for various photographers. The pic (on the left) was taken by Fernando Castel in Pilsen (Chicago). The pic (on the right) was taken by Me. Fernando was one of the first photographers I ever worked with. Throughout the years, I worked with him on various shoots because he is a talented and creative Photographer. For our first shoot, it was my first time traveling to Pilsen. Being from the North Side, The South Side was a whole new world for me. And it’s ironic, because I ended up living in Pilsen for 10+ years after that. Anyways, in the pic (on the right) demonstrates less make-up. Back then, I would wear so much makeup. I loved it. Now, not so much. I just rather prefer the natural look. That’s just me.

When people ask when I started out as a Dominatrix, they ask, “When did you start?” My response: “in 2001.” Then, they look at me, and say, “You look so young.” I say, “I know. The key: kicking ass, staying in shape, watch what you eat, and keep on kicking ass.”
